In Memory of the Defeated – or why I am writing this series

-I started watching that series on Netflix today (season 2 is already running). When I heard that line, I paused the screen, grabbed a pen and paper, put on the subtitles and skipped back to make sure I got it all right.
This is EXACTLY why I decided to write and am still writing this series of novels about those fighting Alexander: so that despite 23 centuries of murder by the victors and the historians and politicians who continue to do the killing, that the memory of the defeated may live on.
