This book is well-written. I enjoyed reading about the other side of the wars of Alexander the Great. I have read numerous books about Alexander and I consider him to be a great warrior and his army but I wonder if Memnon’s plan to invade Greece would have changed history if he had not died before it was realized. Good read and fast-moving; it would interest anyone who likes ancient history.
